"...If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord
and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead
you will be saved."
- Romans 10:9 -
This verse might prompt the question, "be saved from what?" Scripture tells us that we have been separated from God because we have sinned and are destined to be punished for it. Thankfully, God in His love and grace allowed His Son Jesus to take that punishment for us if we will confess Jesus as Lord, meaning we will live a life submitted to His leadership and authority. The beauty of God's plan is that Jesus was resurrected from the dead as an example of the resurrection that God has promised each of us who believe.
If you would like to confess Jesus as Lord, contact us to let us know!
- Know God’s voice: We do this by reading God’s Word to us, the Bible. Start by getting to know Jesus by reading the Gospels. The Gospel of John is a great place to start.
- Pray: You can encounter God everyday through prayer! He hears you and He also desires to speak to you so listen.
- Engage: You have to get plugged in! Find a Bible teaching church in your area and start attending! Start serving there. Learn how it looks to live for and in the body of Christ.
- Share: Let others know about your decision. Let others know who you were and what God has done in your life!
